FIBRE GUIDE / MIXED CONSTRUCTION

How to read the label on blended and lined clothes.

A finished garment may combine multiple fibres, stretch bands, lining, adhesives, buttons and decorated surfaces. Its care label represents the whole article rather than the main fabric alone.

FABRIC FIELD NOTE / BLENDSblendsDO NOT GUESS FROM THE FIBRE NAME

01 / BEFORE YOU START

Read the sewn-in care label first.

Use the complete care sequence. A cotton-rich outer fabric does not override a restrictive instruction chosen because of a lining, elastic panel or dyed trim.

02 / DRYING & SHAPE

The step that can change a garment.

Respect the most specific printed drying method and temperature. If there are separate removable pieces with independent tags, care for each according to its own instructions.

03 / COMMON MISTAKE

What not to assume.

Avoid averaging the fibre composition into a guessed wash temperature. A label can be more restrictive than anything suggested by the material percentages.

04 / MATCH YOUR MARKS

Care symbols worth checking.

Only the garment's own symbols and manufacturer instructions can establish permitted temperatures, cycles or drying methods. This material article is not a personalized safety guarantee.
